Michaelite Sisters - General Chapter

The Sisters of St Michael the Archangel's (CSSMA) General Chapter which took place in Miejsce Piastowe on 20 February, 2013, elected their new General Council. The current Superior General, Sr Natanaela Bednarczyk was confirmed in her position for a further six years. Also the Chapter elected other members of the General Council: Sr Julia Szteliga, as assistant to the Superior General; Sr Massimiliana Ciepał, Secretary General; Sr Lucia Ozog, confirmed as Economer General; and Sr Leonia Przybyło. 33 Michaelite Sisters were at the Chapter, representing 245 professed Sisters working in 29 in Poland and a further 8 abroad, in Cameroon, Germany, Ukraina, Bielorussia, France and Italy. Congratulations and best wishes to the new memebrs of the General Council.
