Once again, on Sunday, September 8, a Feast in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel took place in Melrose. Groups of the faithful from the Michalite parishes in Canada and USA gathered to celebrate the Grand Patron - Saint Michael.
The celebrations began with the Angelic Chaplet conducted in three languages: Polish, English and Italian. Then there was the central point of the celebration - the Eucharist, whose main celebrant was the Moderator General of the Confraternity of the Scapular of St. Archangel Michael - priest Robert Ryndak CSMA. He gave a homily on the devotion to The Archangel and the value of the Scapular of St. Michael.
After the Eucharist, many participants of the celebration received the scapular of St. Michael the Archangel, a sign of devotion to the care of the Chief of the Angels, thus joining the scapular's Confraternity.
The whole ceremony ended with a coffee and donut served by members of the Domestic Church and grilled sausage from Scouts.
