On His Appointment as the 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Hamilton
The Michaelite Fathers joyfully join the faithful across Canada in offering heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Joseph Dabrowski, C.S.M.A., upon his appointment by Pope Leo XIV as the 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Hamilton, Ontario.
We give thanks to God for the gift of Bishop Joseph’s priestly and episcopal ministry, his pastoral zeal, and his witness of humble service. His appointment is a moment of great joy not only for the Diocese of Hamilton but also for our entire Michaelite family around the world.
As Bishop Joseph begins this new chapter of service to the People of God, we assure him of our continued prayers and fraternal support. May the Lord, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Faustina Kowalska, strengthen him with wisdom, courage, and deep trust in Divine Mercy—ever guided by his episcopal motto: “Jesus, I trust in You.”
May this time of transition be filled with peace, joy, and renewed hope for both the Diocese of Hamilton and the Diocese of Charlottetown.
