Quis ut Deus! — Who is like God?

On September 8th 2024 we have gathered at the Michaelite Fathers Retreat Centre to honor St. Michael the Archangel. In this special place of prayer we invoked St. Michael’s protection and lifted up many personal intentions. We offered particular thanks to God for the gift of priesthood and religious life of our brothers Fr. Dariusz Lewandowski and Fr. Krzysztof Stanula.

We were blessed by the presence of many clergy and religious. We welcomed Fr. Andrew, Superior of the North American Vice-Province of the Michaelite Fathers, with parishioners from St. Clare Parish in Grosse Pointe Park; Fr. Tom from St. Genevieve–St. Maurice, Livonia; Fr. Dariusz from the Family of Parishes in Wallaceburg; Fr. Wacław, Fr. Adam, and—joining us for the first time—Fr. Jerzy (from Italy), all serving in the Family of Parishes in London; Fr. John from the Family of Parishes in Sarnia; and Fr. Zbigniew from Christ the King Parish, Toronto. Spiritually united with us were Fr. Peter and Fr. Krzysztof from Prince Edward Island. We also greeted Fr. Stanisław with parishioners from the Parish Family in Windsor, as well as our guest priest Fr. Brian Jane from the Family of Parishes in Sarnia.

Our joy was deepened by the presence of the Ursuline Sisters from Windsor and London and the Claverian Sisters from Toronto. We extend heartfelt thanks to the Knights of Columbus, the Scouts, KPH, and the families of the Domestic Church circles for your vibrant witness and support.

The liturgy was beautifully supported by sacred music provided by the ensemble led by Mr. Bartosz from Toronto—thank you for helping us pray with one voice.

With gratitude for all who came, served, and prayed, we commend everyone to the protection of St. Michael. Quis ut Deus! — Who is like God?
